Program Description
The status of English as a lingua franca and the language of communication, science, education, and the Internet has increased manifold recently. And it has bound the English Departments to provide students with suitable opportunities to learn and practice English language with an understanding of its linguistic and literary aspects.
The Bachelor of Science in English at National University of Pakistan is a winning combination of linguistics, literature and English language teaching. Being remarkably diverse in its choices of courses, BS English program enables graduates to learn contemporary trends and innovations in language, linguistics and literary field. The program is designed keeping in view the demands of current job market. Equipped with professional skills, our graduates are well prepared for careers in fields such as Media, Education, Civil Services and Business.
